Intro

Historically, women in computing have had an effect on the evolution of the industry, with some of the first programmers during the early 20th century being female.[1] In the 2000s, women have also had leadership roles in computer companies, such as Meg Whitman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Hewlett Packard Enterprise and Marissa Mayer, President and CEO of Yahoo! from July 2012 to June 2017 and previously a long-time executive, usability leader, and key spokesperson for Google. And...I as a women and coder will make my mark on the tech world.

About

My dream of becoming a coder started when I attended a boot camp for HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and IOS. I fell in love with coding from the very start. I worked hard and had gained a lot of knowledge...it was there that I caught the bug. I heard about Eleven Fifty and decided to attend. It has been everything that I had hoped for in achieving my goals in coding. I look forward to my new career as a programmer. I hope to teach others someday... and to see that same spark in their eyes, that others have seen in mine. I look forward to all my endeavors on learning and become a great female coder.
